The War against Civilians

The IDF’s barbaric treatment of civilians in Tyre and Sidon is worthy of note. The Zionist dovish writer, Reserve Colonel Dov Yermiya, wrote what he saw and it was published in Hebrew shortly after the war, shocking many Israelis. As Civilian Population Liaison Officer, he witnessed the bombing and destruction of purely civilian facilities:

A PLO-run hospital suffered a direct hit, and a major part of it has collapsed. Expensive and sophisticated equipment is buried under the rubble, and the sickening smell of rotting bodies floats through the air … We are beginning to deal with the water supply. All of the pipes in the city, together with those leading from the pumping station, are completely destroyed.32
